How to connect Semly to Claude and Claude Code

Semly can be connected to Claude and Claude Code as a remote MCP server.

Claude

1. Go to Customize -> Connectors.

2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.

3. Enter the name Semly and the MCP URL.

4. Click Continue.

5. Complete Semly authorization.

6. Connect your account and choose the required permissions.

In Team and Enterprise organizations, adding a custom connector may require owner or administrator permissions.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http semly \

If authentication is required, use /mcp in Claude Code or run:

claude mcp login semly

Examples

Analyze my brand visibility over the last 30 days and show the largest declines versus competitors.

Find prompts where competitors are visible and my brand is not, and show the most commonly used sources.
