Comparison in Analytics brings together Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools results for the selected brand. Identify pages and queries performing better in each search engine and compare trends with Semly AI monitoring.
Connect both services to the same brand. In Google, select the property matching the brand's website; in Bing, authorize an account with access to that website. Set the period and check both sources' coverage.
The top block compares impressions, clicks and CTR. Site-wide average position is available for Google but not in the Bing summary used. Bing positions may be available for individual pages and queries. Missing values do not mean zero.
More impressions do not necessarily mean a higher CTR. Assess visibility volume and click performance separately.
The shared chart shows Google impressions and clicks, Bing impressions and clicks, and AI mentions monitored by Semly. Switch between day, week and month to assess trends. AI mentions are a separate metric, not search clicks.
The table matches the same URLs across both search engines. It shows clicks, impressions, CTR and position where available. Search, sorting and filters help find pages strong in one search engine and weaker in the other.
The table compares the same search terms in Google and Bing. Review visibility and CTR differences, then assess whether to improve the relevant page. A term missing from one source does not prove that the website never appears for it in that search engine.
Google provides daily data in this comparison, while Bing's top page and query tables use weekly results filtered by report dates. These results support analysis but may cover different measurement scopes. Google may also omit some queries for privacy.
Compare the same brand and website across periods that align as closely as possible. Do not treat a dash as zero or attribute differences to one cause without reviewing content, intent and data coverage.
